I have got an intermittent problem with my windows not doing the one touch thing.

Was passenger side last week and drivers yesterday.

Seems to be OK after switching ignition off then on again.

Any ideas??

I get the same problem sometimes - then it goes away - not often enough to investigate further

Not so much of a problem I suppose just got to keep a finger on the switch.

Better than winding the window manually I guess

to be honest - iv been a passenger in my mates ford KA a fair bit just lately, and i think winding windows does have advantages.

the biggest being - u dont need the key in the ignition to open/close them.

and our galaxy does the same as NikPvs galaxy, but again not enough to make me fix it.

I had a similiar problem a while back, it turned out to be broken wires in the drivers door.

I was checking the passanger side and all the while it was the drivers?? Go figure..

Anyway removed rubber collar thing and noticed straight away the problem.

Same as what happend to the boot wires, all brittle and breaking apart, anyway, fixed it and all has been well since.

Hope this helps...

Umm Thought about the wires but turning off the ignition and on again without disturbing the doors will correct the problem so still haven't investigated and further
